Yeay! me with big bird :p not the one from sesame street okey? hehehehe. Today Im goin to share some info about animal (tiere in germans lang) which is Im focusing on ostrich. There is like 6 or 7 ostriches in my college. My dad said they was the gift from the State Minister. Here are some info about ostriches:
- Ostrich is a flightless swift running african bird.
- They have long neck, long leg and two toes on each foot.
- The ostrich is the largest species of bird.
- They lay the largest egg of any bird species.
- They are capable to run about 74km/h (46 mph).
- They eat plants and insects.
- They live in nomadic group between 5 to 50 birds.
- The ostrich will either hide itself by lying flat against the ground or run away when threatened.
- A kick from their powerful leg can cause serious injury and even death!
- They are farmed around the world for their feathers and meat.
